The Stone Oven: A Hidden Gem in Lake Ann, MI for New American, Pizza & Sandwiches

You order the food at this restaurant and sit at a picnic table and enjoy live music outdoors as part of the adjacent Lake Ann Brewery experience. The kid’s meals are a phenomenal value. Great chicken tenders, grilled cheese, or turkey and cheese sandwiches with applesauce or another side for only seven dollars! We also got a couple pizzas which were good. We got order of cheese bread, which is like a giant cheese pizza for $12 than everybody devoured.

Stopped in here on our way home from T.C. after reading some good things about it on Facebook. We wanted a Good Friday fish dinner & it was outstanding. The walleye was well prepared, tartar sauce homemade deliciousness, scalloped potatoes to die for(sweet potatoes & regular), great french fries, & savory home made soup. The prices are incredible. I will definitely be back to try other things, however that fish will be hard to beat. The staff was also awesome & building is cool plus so clean.

Used the takeout window and they give you a pager while you hang out at the brewery, very easy and convenient. Enjoyed the Reuben and tater tots. Paired up with the beers perfectly. And they stay open pretty late, we needed food after an Interlochen concert.

The food is amazing! However it is a small restaurant there's a lot of seatings outside that's covered and has live music! . This place is so absolutely amazing that in the summertime when's there's just way to many people in N. MI the wait for your food could take quite some time but that's because of all the people The Stone Oven attacks because it's so awesome! Ive waited a substantial amount of time for our food many times and I will continue to do so... we love it that much

Excellent food and service. We had the lunch specials: soup and salad or soup and half sandwich. The tomato bisque was flavorful and rich, the salad plentiful and varied with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and cheese. The ham sandwich was wonderful- ham juicy and tasty, lettuce and tomatoes topped it off. Lightly grilled with a tasty bread. They even made a fresh pot of decaf coffee for me, and it was very good. Very reasonable prices. Great little cafe in Lake Ann MI.

Great small town diner. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of sandwich and burger options. Pizza too. All food tasted very fresh and tasty. Small dining room was clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced.

Perfect place to eat in downtown Lake Ann. You can put in your order and then go next door and grab a drink at Lake Ann Brewery while you wait. The pizza is huge and will definitely fill you up. The quesadillas and french fries are also delicious!
